PUSH Group: explainer animation sets path to Ai-future

Shifting your company’s brand focus to stay relevant and meet changing needs is no easy feat. As Push Group sought to establish themselves as a major player in the AI marketing space, they put explainer animation and live illustration at the heart of their communication strategy.

Challenge

In an era where AI is transforming the marketing landscape, Push Group, a leading digital marketing agency, aimed to shift their brand positioning and focus on being an AI performance specialist. 

Their challenge: to find a compelling way to communicate this new direction and position themselves as trusted experts in AI. 

The Animation 

We created a short animation that provides a broad cultural context, illustrating how AI has revolutionised the marketing landscape and its critical importance for businesses to move with these changes. The animation highlights Push's expertise as a trusted authority in the field.

Using wave imagery from Push’s brand guidelines, we illustrated innovation as coming in a series of waves. Companies can either ride these to move forward or struggle to stay afloat and fall behind - think Blockbuster and Blackberry. Push helps businesses effectively navigate these waves, enabling them to adapt to new challenges and stay competitive.

The finished animation is visually striking and engaging, serving as a powerful tool for the agency to tell their story and boost their profile in this space. A highly versatile asset, the animation sits on the group’s homepage, has been shared across socials and used in pitches and presentations.

Opting for a motion graphic style, we took the existing graphical wave imagery from Push’s brand guidelines and gave it a rationale and purpose. We used these waves to help tell the company story, illustrating the channels their customers navigate and how Push can read the landscape to help them thrive.

The Event 


To position themselves as a thought leader in AI marketing, Push held an event - Embracing AI: The Sales & Marketing Revolution - in collaboration with Google. 

Our scribe arrived with pen in hand to help bring the content to life and capture the wealth of insights from a lineup of AI experts and industry leaders. 

Throughout the event, the artwork taking shape was shared at various intervals to shake up the format and spark conversation.

The resulting artwork - in Push’s bold brand colours - provides a compelling and easy-to-understand summary of the event and its key messages, shared with both attendees and those unable to attend. 

Post-event, Push has has maximised the value of this artwork by sharing it across their social channels to boost reach and engagement with potential clients and industry peers alike.
