WFA (World Federation of Advertisers) are known for their live events at scale, and so it was no surprise that their first post-pandemic Global Marketer Week - this time in Athens - was a real tour de force. Our scribing team were delighted to be invited back to the wall, to capture insights from industry leaders on how marketers can effect positive change.

In addition to live scribing, our team created an illustrated backdrop of the landmarks of Athens, and animated idents, which helped to give the week-long event a coherent visual identity from start to finish.

We’ve worked with Scriberia for many years now and they never fail impress. After such a long absence from physical events it was a pleasure to watch new clients, colleagues and members discover, and delight in, their live scribing.

With the scribing wall situated between the main conference space and a break-out area, attendees were able to see scribes, Donatella and Tom, creating their real-time visual summary of conference content, every time they entered or exited.

"We’ve worked with Scriberia for many years now and they never fail impress," says Rob Dreblow, WFA's Global Head of Marketing Services. "After such a long absence from physical events it was a pleasure to watch new clients, colleagues and members discover, and delight in, their live scribing."

Throughout the conference, speakers and delegates used the scribing wall as the backdrop to their selfies. And, adds WFA's Jon Baldwin Quintanilla, a junior policy and communications manager, "everyone wanted to have the scribe emailed to them after the event. It was so full of detail, and provided them with a perfect way to report back to their teams on everything they'd seen and heard that week. Its value was immediately obvious.

"And on top of that, we couldn't have asked for two more talented or easy-to-work-with people than Donatella and Tom."
