Back in 2021, The Regis School (TRS) in Bognor Regis approached us with a unique challenge - to creatively bring their vision and future ambitions to life.
We responded by designing a wall mural infographic that not only captured the secondary academy's vision but also made it engaging and accessible for students, teachers, and visitors alike.
Inspired by the school’s coastal location, we transformed the blank walls of the corridors into colourful and inspiring learning spaces. Each element of the mural carefully highlighted key aspects of the school's vision, from the right to a first-class education to celebrating and embracing diversity.
Our partnership with TRS didn't end there. We were honoured to be invited back during the school holidays to create a second mural. This new piece, unveiled at the start of the academic year, visualised the school’s core values - a set of principles known as 'The Regis 10,' which includes values such as ‘respectful,’ ‘welcoming,’ and ‘creative.’ It also prominently featured their Unicef UK Gold Rights Respecting Schools Award, recognising their commitment to embedding children's rights into the school's ethos and culture.
When planning the execution of each mural, we had multiple meetings with key stakeholders so we could get as clear a picture as possible of what they wanted for their school - and turn that into something of which the whole staff and student body could be proud.
To ensure a consistent and connected visual narrative, we used the same style and colours as the first mural. “Having the school values represented in the same format ensured our vision and values were connected and, we hope, easy to understand by all stakeholders in our school community,” says Caroline Saunders, the school’s Assistant Principal.
“Working with Scriberia was really enjoyable and efficient. Meetings were productive and we felt really listened to. When we wanted to make a change because of student input, we were able to discuss this openly and the result is that students can really see themselves represented in the final piece,” explains Caroline.
“Our Principal had seen Scriberia’s work in another school and thought it fitted as the most impactful and engaging method of communicating his vision for the school.”

“Our Principal had seen Scriberia’s work in another school and thought it fitted as the most impactful and engaging method of communicating his vision for the school. On launch, the vision was immediately embraced by staff and students and quickly became a common language in the building.”
Upon the students’ return at the start of the academic year, the additional mural was, according to Principal David Oakes, “unbelievably well received!”
Both infographics are now seen daily by the school’s 1,600 students and over 200 members of staff. They have also been used in assemblies, on the school website and in newsletters for parents, serving as a playful and impactful reminder of its vision and values. “They underpin all of our work on education with character and personal development in the school,” adds Saunders.
We are very privileged to help the school make its mark and contribute to its vibrant community.
