Building a city of ideas for Inform

Written by Gemma Todd | Sep 23, 2026, 9:14:19 AM

Bringing people together is a rare opportunity for the Inform Team. As a fully remote organisation, their twice-yearly face-to-face events are about more than sharing updates – they're a chance to reconnect, swap ideas and spend time thinking together.

Challenge

For Inform Together 2026, the team wanted colleagues to help shape the next chapter of the business. The event explored what it means to become a "frontier firm", looking at how people, AI and new ways of working can come together to support the organisation's future.

Rather than simply talking at people about the strategy, Inform wanted everyone to help shape it, making the future feel like something they'd built together.

Solution

Joining the Inform Team for their event, we captured ideas as they emerged throughout the day. As colleagues rotated through themed workshops, every discussion was added to a growing illustrated city.

Each landmark represented a different part of Inform's strategy: a forest explored ways of working, a gallery captured the value the organisation delivers, a palace represented client growth and a library celebrated learning and development.

By the end of the day, the blank wall had become a city built from the team's ideas, conversations and ambitions for the future.

Alongside the main mural, we also created a "Wonderwall" in the breakout space, illustrating gratitude messages and celebrating colleagues with hand-drawn portraits. While the city mapped Inform's future, the Wonderwall celebrated the people who will help make it happen.

Results

The finished mural gave colleagues something they could literally gather around. It made complex conversations visible, helping people see not just where Inform is heading but how every team contributes to the journey.

Because the artwork grew alongside the conversations, people weren't simply looking at the strategy, they were helping to draw it. Every new landmark became another piece of the story, making the finished mural something the whole organisation could recognise as its own.

"Scriberia's ability to quickly understand our business and translate complex conversations into something engaging, meaningful and visually brilliant was genuinely impressive."

Yasmin Omar, Events and Experiences Manager, Inform

Yasmin Omar, Events and Experiences Manager at Inform Team, says: "Scriberia did an incredible job at our recent internal event. We had a lot of ideas, discussions and key messages to capture, culminating in a big reveal at the end of the day. Their ability to quickly understand our business and translate complex conversations into something engaging, meaningful and visually brilliant was genuinely impressive.

She adds: "They captured the energy in the room, the purpose behind the event and the personality of our people, leaving us with something we'll keep coming back to long after the event itself."

Together, the city mural and Wonderwall captured two sides of the same story: where Inform is heading, and the people who will take it there.
